About Me

Born in west London, I moved to beautiful Waitakere, New Zealand in 1999.
My kiwi husband Ryan and our two energetic young children keep me busy with all the joy that comes with being a mum! 

Photography for me is my creative time, capturing the small yet fun moments that people might otherwise miss... that might be the first spark of joy when a child sees something new or a tiny flower you didn't even know was in your garden. Nature often shows me the next image of inspiration.
I mainly love working with children and family portraits both outdoor lifestyle and within my home studio. This enables me to provide great shots at any time of year with a more controlled and dynamic storytelling playground for you and your family to enjoy also. 

My love of phography started from a Darkroom at school, then into Photographic retail and fashion retail. From then some of you may recognise me from Jack'n'Jill Family Portrait Fundraisers, where I felt like I photographed the whole of the north Island but maybe only a fraction of it really. I very much enjoyed this, on the go, contract work for around 3 years before realizing I needed to have my own studio creations to feed my soul.

Local friend of mine Salena Stinchcombe and I have joined forces to take on larger projects together such as fundraisers, events and dance school photography. Expanding each year and yet staying focused on our families and individual styles. Its always good to have a teammate!

In the last two years I have become a contributer and subtle co-owner with Truestock. Creating authentic Imagery that can proudly represent the diversity of our country here in New Zealand. This award winning comapny is on a mission to provide stock photography for advertising of all shapes and sizes with the amazing talent of many local nz photographers. All working together for that authentic and professional vibe, country wide.
