Before Your Session

Before your session, be it on the phone, zoom or In person, we will set a short timeframe to chat about what is most important for us to achieve during the session time.

Mainly lets chat about location options for your Photoshoot memories. We can discuss the different personalities that might take a while to warm to me on the day. Likes and dislikes to help me create some fun for your children and really get to know you a little better so that I can truly understand what type of Image you would like your family to smile at every day on your wall.
We can also discuss a little colour theory with outfit options to help the whole experience come together visually.

This time will help everyone understand how the session time will run so we can be prepared and have fun!

Session Day

On the day i will turn up a little earlier than our timeframe, with my gear and a few supplies dependent on our pre-consult.
The goal is to keep it fun yet relaxed. With some guided posing to pull the image together and create some natural moments for smiles and family connection.

I am always keen to move around and continue with other ideas on the day. Play with the light and moments that present themselves, without having to stay strictly on the plan. Keeping the session light and fun. Often capturing the best impromptu images overall and filling the full one hour timeframe the best we can.

The Reveal & Artwork

After our fun session I will go through the images to select the best gems that create the perfect family story together.
Within approximately two weeks, we will have a reveal date appointment. This is where you and your family can re-visit the session day and choose your favourite moments to cherish forever.
The slideshow will be on a large screen or projector so that we can see them in full colour and really help imagine them displayed in your home. I will have a few examples of wall art with me so you can really get a feel for use and placement in your home.
Dont worry there is no pressure here, just pure guidance with display options and help preserving your memories properly.
